Steven Taetz Ensemble at the King Eddy

Steven Taetz creates and performs swing, jazz, and traditional pop music surrounded by an ensemble of talented musicians, in the tradition of Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, and Chet Baker. The Toronto-based, former Calgarian’s new album, Drink You In, debuted at No. 3 on iTunes jazz charts and has been heard on radio stations worldwide. The album features leading Canadian jazz musicians, including Adrean Farrugia, Kevin Turcotte, and Ernesto Cervini. Top international publications have called the album “a heady cocktail of standards and originals,” “a sheer delight,” and “irresistible.” For his King Eddy debut, Steven will be accompanied by the Humber College Oscar Peterson Award recipient Ewen Farncombe (piano) and local jazz men Kodi Hutchinson (bass) and Jon May (drums).
