The Bell Live Series at the King Eddy: Kira Isabella presented by NMC, CCMA, and Country 105

The historic King Eddy kicks into high-gear as a pop-up country bar with the return of the Bell Live Series from July 6-15. The venue will then re-open as a permanent live music venue, bar and restaurant with regular hours on July 20.

This secret show is presented by the Canadian Country Music Association and Country 105 as part of The Bell Live Series.

The schedule for July 13 is:

  • Ghostboy featuring Mark Parsons 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm (FREE)
  • Tin and the Toad 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm (FREE)
  • Cole Malone at 7:30 pm
  • National Music Centre, Canadian Country Music Association, and Country 105 present Kira Isabella at 9:00 pm

Online ticket sales close at 6:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door starting 6:30 pm.

Multiple CCMA Award-winner and JUNO Award-nominee Kira Isabella has a decade of experience under her belt performing her brand of up-tempo country music across Canada, and it’s an impressive feat since she’s just barely 19. The powerhouse vocalist has shared stages with Carrie Underwood, Terri Clark, Keith Urban and Jason Aldean and has had seven consecutive Top 20 country radio singles. Her latest single, “Little Girl” is out now.

The Bell Live Series

For 10 days during the Calgary Stampede, the King Eddy will once again be transformed into a honky-tonk in the East Village, featuring a revolving roster of boot-stompin’ country acts performing evening headliner shows. House band Ghostboy featuring Mark Parsons will perform free daytime sets from noon to 3:00 pm daily.

The Bell Live Series at the King Eddy will run daily from July 6-15, 11:30 am to 2:00 am. Admission is free during the day and a cover will be in place after 7:00 pm until close for all headliner shows. We are a cashless Box Office (just debit and credit) but we still accept cash at the Bar.

The King Eddy rooftop patio will be open daily during Stampede Week from 12:00 pm to 11:30 pm and will be closed for a private event on July 13. Stop by before hitting the grounds or end your evening on the terrace with some of the best views of the Stampede’s closing fireworks. *Rooftop access is subject to availability and will be weather dependent.

Country music lovers can also visit Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, during Stampede to check out pieces from the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame Collection, explore five floors of interactive exhibitions, and check out a temporary exhibition on The Young Canadians, the Stampede’s grandstand showband for youth, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2018. Studio Bell will be open seven days a week until September 3, before returning to regular hours, Wednesday to Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm.
