The King Eddy will present No Cover Canada Day, a family-friendly bash in celebration of Canada’s 152nd birthday with a roster of local youth performing heart-exploding sets.

Celebrate Canada Day 2019 at the historic venue from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on July 1. The performer lineup for the day includes youth showcases from Major Minor Music Project, Girls Rock Camp Calgary, and the School of Rock Calgary, and live DJs playing an all-Canadian soundtrack. And, as the title suggests, no cover will be in effect all day long.

“The King Eddy is ready to rock Canada Day 2019 with some of our youngest music friends in the community,” said Jynnifer Gibson, the King Eddy’s General Manager. “The King Eddy is pleased to support the music community by providing a space for the city’s young, emerging musicians to cut their teeth in a live music setting.”

In addition to the performances, the King Eddy kitchen will be serving up Southern comfort fare all day long. Custom cocktails and craft brews will also be on tap to fuel up partiers.

No Cover Canada Day at the King Eddy runs from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on July 1 and is open to music lovers of all ages. No cover all day.
