COVID-19 update for the King Eddy: March 13, 2020

Although the risk still remains low, we’d like to update our community on what we’re doing to address the pandemic novel coronavirus (COVID-19) at the King Eddy.

While we don’t discourage social distancing, we’re also a small, locally-owned venue that relies on people coming together. We plan to remain fully operational at this time and will continue with events as planned unless the situation changes.

Here’s what we’re doing so music lovers can enjoy the King Eddy:

  • We ask ALL staff and guests and staff to wash their hands thoroughly and frequently.
  • We encourage ALL guests and staff to stay at home if they feel unwell. There will be plenty of shows to look forward to!
  • We continue to clean according to the same rigorous standards and take all recommended precautions.
  • We’ve added additional, enhanced sanitation measures in order to mitigate any possible risk from coming in contact with the virus.
  • We advise all guests and staff to contact their health provider or Health Link 811 if you have questions or concerns

We’ll continue to monitor the situation and act upon recommendations from Alberta Health Services and the City of Calgary. We encourage our community to support local business in a smart, safe way.

We appreciate your continued support of the King Eddy!
