King Eddy Announces Boots On at the King Eddy, July 2-11

Today, the King Eddy is pleased to announce Boots On at the King Eddy, a pared down celebration of all things country and western from July 2-11.

“With the Calgary Stampede’s cancelation this year, we wanted to bring a bit of that Stampede spirit back to the King Eddy,” said Kutay Baykal, Restaurant Manager of the King Eddy. “We encourage guests to get out their western wear duds and come on down for a bite and a brew.”

The Chili King & the Smokehouse Swingers will be on stage as the House Band, playing instrumental versions of familiar country classics, from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm daily, with western-swing king Matt Masters joining the lineup on July 3 and 10. Check kingeddy.ca/whats-on for each night’s featured performer.

The King Eddy’s kitchen will be serving up an updated menu of comfort-food classics with Happy Hour prices on food and beverage items from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The Eddy will follow all guidelines set by Alberta Health Services with heightened safety measures in place, including:

  • Mandatory masks worn by all staff, more frequent hand washing protocols, and rigorous cleaning standards
  • Hand sanitizer stations for guests upon entry
  • Restricted capacity and reconfigured dining space to allow for social distancing between tables

Boots On at the King Eddy will run from July 2-11, during regular hours, which are Wednesday to Saturday from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The Eddy is also offering takeout and delivery services from Wednesday to Saturday at kingeddy.ca for those who choose to celebrate Stampede spirit events from home.
