King Eddy Saddles Up for Stampede 2021 with All-Canadian Lineup from July 9-17

Dust off your cowboy boots for the return of Stampede at the King Eddy. The Eddy is hosting live tunes during Stampede Week, featuring an all-Canadian lineup from July 9-17.

Live music will run all afternoon and all night at the reigning CCMA-winning Country Club of the Year, the King Eddy, located just 600 metres from Stampede Park.

Catch no cover evening sets at 8:00 pm nightly from the Eddy’s main floor stage. Artists performing include country vagabond Tim Hus (July 9), powerhouse country vocalist Kendra Kay (July 10), country duo JayWalker (July 13), country/roots raconteurs Blake Reid Band (July 14), country singer-songwriter Drew Gregory (July 15), country four-piece Nice Horse (July 16), and pop-country queens The Heels (July 17).

The happiest Happy Hour in the East Village will run from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm on the main floor. See sets from country and western singer Matt Masters (July 9, 15 & 16), honky-tonk country band Boots & the Hoots (July 10), roots-rock act The Frontiers (July 11 & 14 & 17), and roots outfit The Wine Soaked Preachers (July 12 & 13).

“Stampede is always one of our favourite times of year,” said Gabrielle Vanderwerff, Restaurant Manager of the King Eddy. “The cold brews and music will be flowing on all levels, so throw on your best western wear and stop in for a live show and a delicious bite from our revamped menu.”

As previously announced, the newly outfitted King Eddy Rooftop will be open for business with live tunes running across both floors. Come during the daytime for tunes, brews and happy hour prices from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm on days without private event rentals. Or come at night. It’s the perfect spot for a nightcap with prime views of the Stampede’s spectacular fireworks show. Check kingeddy.ca/whats-on for all updated concert listings.

In addition to a stellar roster of acts, the King Eddy’s main floor kitchen will be serving up an updated menu of comfort-food classics, sharable bites, and vegetarian options that celebrate the spirit of gathering over food and music. On the roof, enjoy a separate menu of street food-style eats. Custom cocktails and craft brews will also be on tap to fuel up concertgoers.

Stampede at the King Eddy will run on the main floor and rooftop, July 9-17 from 11:00 am to close, with the exception of Sundays and Mondays, which will be open with reduced hours from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. There is no cover for all shows. Seating will be first come, first served in the main floor dining room. Reservations for the rooftop patio can be made at kingeddy.ca/reservations.

Special thanks to our talent sponsor Craig Senyk Initiatives for supporting live music on the main floor and rooftop patio throughout Stampede.

The King Eddy will continue adhering to enhanced public safety measures during Stampede to keep everyone safe, phasing out protocols gradually. For more info, please visit kingeddy.ca.
