It’s Aaron Pollock’s last show of 2019, so he’s bringin’ down the house at the Eddy with Julia Vos!
About Aaron Pollock:
Aaron Pollock is a Calgary-based singer-songwriter with a knack for bringing a seductive groove to a well-written country tune. In October 2019, Pollock collaborated with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) on “I Will Carry You (feat. ANNIKA)”, a charity single that was exclusively released on the CMHA’s website. Having already raised over $6,000 for the CMHA, the song will become available on all digital retailers in December, 2019. This year also saw Pollock write 107 new songs and share the stage with several heavy-hitting artists including Jocelyn Alice and Brett Kissel.
Released in May 2018, Pollock’s debut single “Nothing Much These Days” has since reached over 175,000 streams on Spotify. He also co-wrote four songs on CCMA-nominated duo Leaving Thomas’s sophomore album and achieved his first iTunes #1 as a co-writer (“All Over It” – Ben Chase). This year, Pollock was one of 12 artists selected to participate in “Project WILD”, an Alberta-based development competition with a grand prize of $100,000. He looks forward to releasing new music in 2020 produced by JUNO award-winners Spencer Cheyne and Justin Kudding.
