Vancouver rock band Black Pontiac and Calgary indie rockers Sea of Lettuce hit the legendary King Eddy stage on February 1.

About Black Pontiac:

Everyone loves an underdog story, and Black Pontiac remains the most exciting next example. The self proclaimed Kings of the Underworld have spent the last several years slowly but surely developing a cult following throughout the Pacific Northwest; organizing, producing and promoting their own shows, tours and music in the spirit of their DIY upbringing. Despite a lack of label support or industry recognition, streaming numbers continue to rise and shows continue to sell out throughout their native province of British Columbia, as their unique brand of ‘Cage the Elephant meets The Clash’ inspired party rock continues to astound, inspire and occasionally offend wherever they go. With new music on the way, the sky remains the limit, and Black Pontiac is ready to fly.

About Sea of Lettuce:

Coming from a cold basement in Calgary, Canada, Sea of Lettuce is an indie-rock group with a fresh spin on the genre’s typical sound. Blending components of reflective lyricism with upbeat catchy instrumentation, the band’s catalogue is full of summer soundtracks meant to be listened to while enjoying days in the sun. The group consists of four members, with an exciting style that mixes together elements of indie-pop, surf rock, and vibrant acoustics all into one sound. Since 2017, the band has developed a high-energy live presence that appeals to both longtime fans and new audiences. Sea of Lettuce has released two EPs and four full-length albums, including their most recent album “Any Day Now” which arrived in June of this year.
