Calgary Film presents: Alberta Music Seen After Party

Can’t get enough of Calgary International Film Festival? Join us for the after party for Calgary Film 2018: Alberta Music Seen at National Music Centre, featuring performances from Raygun Cowboys, Melted Mirror, Sinzere, and Amy Nelson!

Raygun Cowboys
Raygun Cowboys are a psychobilly punk rock n roll band hailing from the very best dive bars and pool rooms of Edmonton. These 50’s influenced hooligans play insanely high-energy badass rockabilly with elements of punk and rock n roll that instantly gets people on the dance floor from the first to last song.

Melted Mirror
Like traversing a dark metropolis to a soundtrack of buzzing electronics, crystalline synth and morose vocal delivery, Melted Mirror take the most stylized elements of a late night and carry them through to the early morning. As much related to chrome as they are to lush roses, Melted Mirror put the pomp back in post-punk.

Sinzere
Sinzere is a Canadian born; singer-songwriter and rapper re-defining hip-hop music. Sinzere defines herself by her charismatic, daring, witty, powerful, and unapologetic lyrics, creating what some call style of its own. Sinzere mixes elements of, Funk, Jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop, Pop, and Reggae together; creating a groovy, melodic, bass driven sound – rich in originality. Some of Sinzere’s accomplishments include opening for the likes of Rick Ross, Raekwon, Rakim, KRS-one, Obie Trice, Mavado; and securing a spot as a top 10 finalist with CBC Searchlight 2018.

Amy Nelson
Amy Nelson is an old time banjoist and singer/songwriter from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She harkens back to a time when music was not only a form of entertainment, but a way of connecting to the hearts of everyday people.
