“Laugh off the blues” with us at the inaugural Crown Jewels Comedy Night at the King Eddy!
To kick off this new Sunday night series, the opening event will feature Dale Ward hosting, Chris Gordon headlining, and a hilarious cast of special guest performers. Bring your empty barrels because we’ll be filling them with laughs, guaranteed!
This show will support a cause near and dear to our hearts — half of the proceeds from each ticket will be donated to the Calgary Drop-In Centre in East Village.

About Chris Gordon
There is no other comedian today who is providing such a unique, original and innovative approach to comedy and audience interaction as Chris Gordon. Chris played Contrell on Season 3 of the hit AMC western Hell On Wheels. Chris has trained and performed in Los Angeles at the prestigious Upright Citizens Brigade, the Groundlings, the Improv Olympic, as well as the world famous Comedy Store; institutions whose alumni include Will Farrell, Conan O’Brien and Jim Carey to name a few.

The Calgary Drop-In Centre welcomes adults at risk of or experiencing homelessness. Working collaboratively with community partners, they offer a broad spectrum of care including emergency shelter, health programs, and housing options – all geared to help people find their way home.
