Crown Jewels Comedy is here to bring you Canada’s finest and funniest comedians every Sunday night at the King Eddy!

March 24 will feature Casey Corbin headlining, Arash Narchi hosting, and a hilarious cast of guests. Bring your empty barrels because we’ll be filling them with laughs, guaranteed!

About Casey Corbin

2024 is Casey’s 30th year performing in comedy. He currently has 5 comedy albums available on streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music & YouTube with over 1.8 million streams. His albums can also be heard on SiriusXM satellite radio.

2023 Casey landed Canada’s top corporate tour with the IG Wealth Management Comedy Tour. Not only that, he had two fantastic performances recorded for CBC television at the Halifax Comedyfest that will air in 2024. He also had two sold out shows opening for Rory Scovel at the prestigious Elgin Theatre during JFL Toronto.

Speaking of Just For Laughs, in 2021 JFL production Jon Dore’s Humour Resources featured Casey in the second episode along with Nikki Glaser & the Lucas Brothers. 2017 Casey did 4 sold out shows at the Royal Theatre along with Rory Scovel & Amy Schumer for Just For Laughs’ Toronto fest. Casey’s first appearance working for JFL was in Montreal 2007 at their 25th Anniversary. He was invited to participate in their homegrown comedy contest. He didn’t win but, 10 years later in 2017 Casey would beat out 41 other comedians to win the Brantford Comedy Festival grand prize of $10,000.

Not only that here are a few other things. He’s opened for Norm MacDonald, Mitch Hedberg, Tom Arnold, Harland Williams, Ron James, Gerry Dee and the late great Mike MacDonald. Numerous television appearances including his 2008 hour long special that aired on CTV, Comedy Network and Much (still airs several times a year to this day) Now that you’ve read all about him…Go see him live!

Arash Narchi is a Vancouver-based comedian who has lived in Tehran, Dubai and LA.

Driven by a need to fit in, be different and end hacky terrorist jokes once and for all.

Arash brings his multicultural background and everyday observations to the stage. He has been featured on Tinder Tales on Tour, White Rock Buskers & Comedy Festival and has performed in Victoria, Vancouver, Montreal, Austin, Seattle, Chicago & New Orleans.

He has opened for Amir K, Annie Lederman & Jeremy Hotz. He has recently been touring with Ed Hill and Simon King across western Canada and the US.
