About Double Rider

Double Rider, formerly known as Third Generation, is a rock trio from Siksika Nation, Alberta. In 2014, they began developing their sound, echoing a classic vibe with a modern twist. In the first few years of being a band, the trio performed at local festivals in Southern Alberta. Since then, the three have made their way to larger venues in Calgary and Banff, AB. In early 2020, Double Rider set out on their first tour – the First Nations Music Tour – alongside notable Indigenous Artists.
Produced by Josh Williams at OCL Studios, the trio has recently released their first, long-awaited Double Rider EP that includes songs composed by their grandfather, Matthew Manyheads. The future of Double Rider consists of the recording and the release of their first full-length album and sharing more music composed by their late grandfather.
