SOLD OUT: Downtown Exit Album Release Party at the King Eddy

The fictional band Downtown Exit have recorded some very real songs, and they’ll hit the King Eddy stage on Friday, April 8 to perform them live.

About Downtown Exit
Downtown Exit began as the fictitious rock band in the novel Bootleg Stardust by Glenn Dixon (published internationally by Simon & Schuster, 2021). Their songs, though, have now been brought to life by a group of top notch musicians gathered by the author. They recorded the bed tracks on the legendary Rolling Stones mobile recording studio and mastered the songs at Abbey Road studios in London and the tracks have now garnered radio play and newspaper coverage across Canada. Jim Sarantis is on lead vocals, Glenn Dixon himself is on vocals and guitar, Michael Dangelmaier handles keyboards, Richard Maruk is on bass and Darren Stinson is on drums and together they have become the very real band Downtown Exit.

*This show was previously scheduled for January 14 but has been rescheduled to April 8. Previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the new date.
