Edwardson with Alcoves

Canadian alternative pop artist Edwardson hits the legendary King Eddy stage with Alcoves on July 17.

About Edwardson:

Edwardson is an award-winning Canadian alternative pop artist based in Calgary.

Their latest single, Over It, pushes Edwardson’s pop sound to new heights, blending raw heartbreak with anthemic energy. A collaboration with Canadian indie artist Carly Cooper, the track explores the tension of watching your past move on. Electric guitars, pulsing synths, live drums, and intertwining male and female vocals bring this emotionally vulnerable yet explosive song to life.

Following Right Way (January 2025) and a 2024 Calgary Music Award win, Over It marks an exciting new chapter for Edwardson, showcasing their ability to craft deeply relatable lyrics wrapped in high-energy production.

Edwardson first broke onto the Calgary pop scene in 2022 with their debut single, Springtime. Their 2023 debut EP, Twenty Something, featuring tracks like Get Home and Oh Love!, gained traction in Canada’s indie pop scene, leading to a wave of live performances.

Since then, Edwardson has brought their electrifying stage presence to venues across Calgary and beyond, including The Rec Room, Blue Jay Sessions, and the historic King Eddy.

With new music, bigger shows, and a growing audience, 2025 is shaping up to be Edwardson’s most exciting year yet.
