Alternative country-rock singer-songwriter Eric Braun hits the legendary King Eddy stage with Yukon country artist Kate Reid on October 9.

About Eric Braun:

Hailing from Southern Alberta, Eric Braun blends the storytelling essence of country with the raw energy of rock, creating a sound that resonates deeply with listeners. Since picking up the guitar at 15, Eric has honed his craft and developed a unique voice in the music scene.

In 2017, he released his debut album, “Clear Your Mind,” showcasing his knack for poignant lyrics and melodic hooks. Following that, his 2019 single, “(Please Don’t) Give Me Hope,” further established his presence, drawing inspiration from musical icons like Chris Stapleton, John Mayer, and Hozier.

With the announcement of his new album “Better Than Yesterday” and the first four singles released, Eric is poised to take his career to the next level, and remains committed to sharing his authentic sound and connecting with audiences everywhere.

About Kate Reid:

Born in Whitehorse, Yukon, Kate Reid’s love for country music began at an early age. Inspired by legends like Terri Clark, Leann Rimes, Shania Twain, Dolly Parton, Sara Evans, and Reba Mcentire, Kate would often serenade her neighbors from her backyard swing set with her renditions of their favorite songs.

Now a country singer/songwriter based in Calgary, Alberta, Kate’s powerful voice and relatable songwriting have set her apart in the Canadian country music scene. With a career that continues to grow, she has headlined iconic stages, including Ranchman’s, and earned accolades such as the Best Original Song award at Ranchman’s Rising Star Competition. Her single “Bang” hit the Top 10 on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown, and she has performed at numerous festivals and venues throughout Alberta.

Kate has had the privilege of working with renowned industry professionals, including Stephen Shiveley, Charlotte Avenue Entertainment, Jordan Craig, and Grant Howarth. In 2021, she released her debut single “Numb,” followed by her first music video and her debut EP “I DO” in November 2022. Nominated for three YYC Music Awards, Kate’s music continues to captivate audiences.

Kate signed with Blue Willow Entertainment in 2024 and is working on a new projects. Her new single “Chicks Don’t Dig It” is out now.
