About Erwin Vesper

Erwin Vesper is a rock-folk-prog-punk-indie band based in Calgary, Alberta. They have been crafting their unique musical narrative since 2015. Rooted in an exploration of the human condition, their kaleidoscopic sound paints emotions with vivid imagery and metaphorical brushstrokes. Their debut album in 2018 and a subsequent three-song EP in 2020 laid the foundation for Erwin Vesper’s sonic journey. After a hiatus during the COVID pandemic, the band is back in action, working on new recordings that promise to showcase their growth and artistic exploration.

Live performances are where Erwin Vesper truly shines – an energetic rollercoaster blending original compositions and reimagined covers. With Wes Pohl and Heather Cole on vocals, Kelly Palmer on lead guitar, Duff Down on bass, and Jeff Burns on drums, the band leaves an indelible mark on every stage, large and small.
