Friends of Foes with Young Neighbors and Shuffalo

It’s a full bill of indie goodness at the King Eddy. Catch indie-alternative band Friends of Foes with Young Neighbours and Shuffalo on Saturday, October 20.

About Friends of Foes:
Formed in 2013, Friends of Foes is an indie-alternative band based out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Consisting of founding members Keegan Stretch and Matt Stinn and more recent member Danielle Huot, late 2018 will see the release of their second full-length album. While forming connections with fans of all musical tastes and backgrounds, their sound has developed into a mixture of atmospheric tones, sultry guitar riffs, catchy, alluring vocals, and tight, groovy drum lines.

About Young Neighbours:
Young Neighbours is a five-piece band based in Calgary. Led by Eric Pauls they began as a Post Rock experiment in 2014 but have continued to evolve or devolve with each release, citing numerous new influences, including folk, electronic, even pop.

About Shuffalo:
A five-piece with a wide array of influences and playing styles, Shuffalo grounds its musical direction in a to-the-point style of danceable rock, layered with vibrant melodies, and warm synthesizers – blanketed in three-piece vocal harmonies. Their debut single “Heart Attack” was released in July 2018, with plans for further releases to follow shortly after. With their live shows, Shuffalo creates an environment for everyone to feel comfortable, be themselves, dance, sing, and have a great overall experience!
