Up in Smoke: A Housefire Benefit for Andrew, Brett, and Mitch

Our friends Brett, Andrew, and Mitch recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of their home following a house fire. In an instant, they lost their home and nearly everything they owned.

For many in Calgary’s music community, you know this home held a special energy. More than just a house, it was a place where people gathered, where songs and ideas took shape, where friends became family, and where musicians passing through always seemed to find a seat at the table and a place to sleep. It also became the home base for Pool Boy Studios and a creative space that gave so much back to the community around it.

There will be a fundraising show at the King Eddy on June 3 for anyone who would like to come out and support in person. Please mark your calendars and come surround these friends with love, music, and community. Performers include Jaiden Riley & the Cry Babies, Kayla Williams, Paeton Cameron, and Brett Cassidy.

Music from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

No cover — donations will be accepted at the door and online.
