Groove Theory Calgary brings you psychedelic summer vibes with celestial psych-popsters Windigo.
Groove Theory Calgary is an open-ended, free form, perfectly imperfect, “do what u feel” jam session that welcomes groovy bands, singers, emcees, spoken word artists and musicians to create and collaborate, on the spot and right on the King Eddy stage.
Check out who’s grooving with us this week:
Windigo is the relentlessly lovable brain-child of Anthony Kameka (guitar & vocals), Del Coburn (bass), Tory Rosso (guitar) and Mitch Cooper (drums). Kameka’s mellow yet powerful vocals and Cooper’s exquisite rhythms balance expertly with Coburn and Rosso’s infectious artistry
Producer, songwriter, composer, and guitarist, Jamil Ahmed does it all. In addition to curating the local sounds of Groove Theory Calgary, Jamil DJs groovy sounds every Thursday at the King Eddy.
Sound production equipment for the King Eddy provided by PK Sound and Yamaha.
