Homegrown Country Series with Flaysher and Ryan Langlois

The Homegrown Country Series is back from hiatus! Country duo Flaysher and barstool balladeer Ryan Langlois perform from the legendary Eddy stage for a double bill of sweet country bliss.

About Flaysher
Taken from the last name of two small-town Albertan brothers, Flaysher is a Canadian country duo with some grit in their blood harmonies. Growing up in a blue-collar family, they spent weekends and summers on their dad’s job sites learning to work hard for what they wanted. On the way to work, they’d be singing along to classics such as Bob Seger, Bruce Springsteen, The Eagles, and Tim McGraw in the back of an old grey GMC work truck. The music spoke to them and soon they felt a calling to tell their own stories through their own music. Their debut country single, “Flat Broke Famous,” is out now.

About Ryan Langlois
In today’s imitative mass of simple melodies and polished production, Ryan Langlois’ rock-ribbed growl is an uncompromising breath of fresh air. Anthemic in delivery, Langlois recalls a Springsteen-esque leader, but one with decidedly more gospel influences than his predecessors. Langlois has been renowned for his performances carrying an electrifying intensity. Songs like “This Is My Home” can be heard among the rubble of concrete side-streets and the alleyways of nostalgia, beckoning us back towards the comforting and ahead into the unknown. With a voice true and persevering, this barstool balladeer continues to sing his songs and tell his stories.

Special thanks to our talent sponsor Craig Senyk Initiatives for supporting the Homegrown Country Series.

Sound production equipment for the King Eddy is provided by PK Sound and Yamaha.
