The King Eddy presents: International Women’s Slay

Slay all day, and then slay all night at the Eddy with a lit lineup of ladies: rapper Ms.Teaze, R&B vocalist Bvitae, hip-hop-house DJ Prairie Chola Ayatollah, and electronic tastemaker DJ SoniDef.

About Ms.Teaze
Ms.Teaze grew up in Red Deer, Alberta and has always called it home. With a love for her city (especially the hip-hop scene) she was inspired at a young age to become an emcee. “I really wanted to be a rapper, but I felt it was hard cause there is not a lot of female rappers where I come from. I really wanted to record so I did, and after that I was getting the respect I wanted, then I started doing shows and that was my dream.” Writing her own music about the everyday life of human beings and sending positive uplifting vibes. She has done countless shows and opened for artists such as Moka Only, D12, Swollen Members, Hospin and Swizz, Rochester, Karl Wolf, Gee Wunder, Redman and more!

Her diverse, life-long influences range from jazz and traditional East African folk music to the modern realms of jungle and drum and bass.
