About Josh Dillon:

The ‘Josh Dillon Band’ is a group residing from Calgary, Alberta. With a sonic style somewhere between Southern Rock and Traditional Country, they enjoy being the “heaviest guys at a country gig and the most redneck at a rock show.” Originally created three years ago,  JDB brings their unique blend of different genres together to create a new and exciting show. 

Lead singer/Songwriter Josh Dillon, writes from the heart and wears his songs on his sleeve. Never afraid to speak what’s on his mind, his songs cover a range of “hard-to-talk-about” topics such as past struggles with addiction or simply calling out the current state of country music. His fondness of writers like Ernest Hemingway is illustrated by the particular selection in his lyrics. Similarly, themes from Josh’s classical training on violin can be seen in the depth of composition with his music. 

Recently nominated for ‘Roots Artist of the Year’ Josh Dillon continues to climb the ladder and impress more with every show. From headlining the iconic Ranchman’s main stage in Calgary, Alberta all the way to Fort Worth, Texas, The Josh Dillon Band’s outlaw spirit and western pride shine through their performances and music alike.
