Micah Erenberg & Mise En Scene

In celebration of his new album “Love Is Gonna Find You”, Micah Erenberg and his band are touring Western Canada, alongside acclaimed Winnipeg group, Mise En Scene.

Each band’s show is sure to be high energy and captivating, as they combine elements of rock, punk, folk, garage and psychedelia.

Canada’s Micah Erenberg knows the risk in wearing your heart on your sleeve. The 26-year-old also understands the importance of a shared experience. One that can make someone feel brighter, understood, less alone. The songwriter’s second album Love Is Gonna Find You is intended to be shared.

Lyrically, the album paints a scrambling collage of navigating the loss of love while also providing a rolling, self-effacing pep talk. It’s a kaleidoscope of memories and is ultimately positive and downright life-affirming.

Erenberg is an insatiably prolific songwriter. The process saw him having to sift through 80+ demos to make Love Is Gonna Find You – plus, those written during the actual recording process.
The most honest transformations start small. They creep up through an accumulation of subtle shifts, a fluid expansion reaching further and further upward. There are moments of awkward spurts or growing pains, moments where time is at a stand still. But one day things are different, all your memories and past selves and experiences coming together to form the present moment.

For Stefanie Blondal Johnson and Jodi Dunlop of Winnipeg rock outfit Mise en Scene, the changes have been slow and steady, the metamorphosis well worth the wait.

Sound production equipment for the King Eddy is provided by PK Sound and Yamaha.
