Mother Sun with Octoduck

Head down to the King Eddy for a night of indie psych-pop with Mother Sun and Octoduck!

Mother Sun is a four-piece band from Kamloops, BC that consists of Jared Doherty (guitar, vocals), Emilio Pagnotta (guitar, vocals), Alex Ward (organ, keys), and Jared Wilman (drums, vocals). Mother Sun creates warmth, drawing vivid colours from the sounds that surround. Combining deliberate psych-pop arrangements with a measured amount of absurdity, the group produces thought-provoking music that weaves wistful melody through vibrant tones and intricate grooves. The band is currently in the process of tracking their debut LP with Felix Fung at Little Red Sounds Studio in Vancouver, BC.

Indie-rock act Octoduck will close the night.
