NMC Presents: Rockin’ in the Rockies

“We don’t teach music to put on shows, we put on shows to teach music.”

Seven School of Rock House Bands from across Canada are touring in the Calgary area from July 18 through July 21, stopping at the legendary King Eddy for a free afternoon show on Thursday, July 18. Students will be coming from schools as far away as St. John’s, Mississauga, Winnipeg, Regina, and of course from both of the School of Rock locations here in Calgary.

The performing students range in age from 13 to 17 and are some of our best musicians. School of Rock is a music school for all skill levels, ages, and musical aspirations. With students ranging from toddlers to adults, School of Rock is where music students grow into real musicians.
