Souls in Rhythm will bring their award-winning funk and soul, songwriting, and live performance to the legendary King Eddy stage on January 21 with special guest Jared Daniel.
About Souls in Rhythm
Based in Calgary, funk/soul group Souls in Rhythm (SiR) consists of Scott Henderson (keys/vocals), Caleb Roddick (bass), Spencer Cheyne (drums), and Vincent Bundick (guitar). They have toured much of the nation and opened for prominent artists such as American hip-hop icon Common and R&B super-group Boyz II Men. Rather than being impressionists of classic artists of the genre, SiR has a modern sound and seeks to innovate and contemporize a musical form they love. Armed with new songs, SiR is excited to throw some early heat into the new year!
About Jared Daniel
Jared Daniel is an R&B artist from Calgary. He recently released his debut project and is currently working on his first full length project as the artist in residence at the Marriott in Calgary.
The show is presented by RISE UP Weekends, supported by The City of Calgary and Calgary Arts Development.
Sound production equipment for the King Eddy is provided by PK Sound and Yamaha.
