Ryan McNally with Red Hot Hayseeds & Godfrey and Tod

Put on your dancing shoes, Calgary. The Eddy is bringin’ you all the old-timey goodness with Ryan McNally, Red Hot Hayseeds, and Godfrey & Tod.

About Ryan McNally:
Whether he’s playing with his own solo band or other various outfits, he can’t be kept off Canadian stages. Ryan puts most of his energy in his passion for studying acoustic traditional blues, jazz and old time music. This led him to spending a winter in New Orleans where he wrote the majority of the material featured on Steppin’ Down South.

Ryan McNally’s sound is saturated with the sounds and rhythm of New Orleans streets. It captures the sound of hillbilly blues and jug band jazz. Ryan McNally’s genuine style and performance is a breath of fresh air.

Red Hot Hayseeds are a Central Alberta based group specializing in western swing, country, and bluegrass toe tappers, knee slappers, heartbreakers, and waltzes who perform as a trio, quartet, or 5 piece led by Tyler Allen on vocals & guitar.

About Godfrey & Tod:
Godfrey & Tod is an old time duo from Calgary, Alberta. Composed of Nathan M. Godfrey on resonator guitar and banjo, and Mike Tod on acoustic guitar, the duo plays old-time musics of the Americas, from cowboy songs of Alberta’s coulees, to traditional ballads of the Appalachian Mountains.
