About S.K. Wellington

S.K. Wellington is led by Calgary-based Sarah Kemmers, who has been writing and performing music for well over a decade, with 5 records plus a bunch of singles to show for it. The 2018 debut S.K. Wellington EP was met with positive reviews all the way from Calgary to the UK. She has followed the successful EP with a series of singles and is set to release her next EP in 2024. Sitting in the “perfect pocket of folk, pop, indie, and rock”, her music has been described as “Fleetwood Mac meets Deathcab for Cutie”. S.K.’s songs have made Regional Top Ten in the CBC Searchlight competition 4x and she’s been nominated 3x for YYC Music Awards. S.K. has opened for Donovan Woods, Dan Mangan, and Sarah MacDougall.
