After living in America for the past 4 years, former Edmontonian Doug Hoyer has settled into Calgary to release his 5th album, “Character Witness”. Hoyer crafted the album from the vantage of various perspectives, with each character demonstrating a unique, and often lonely, point of view on our time on earth. Hoyer will be bringing a wry, playful set to the King Eddy and share his new collection of songs.
About this week’s guest, Tyson Borsboom:
“Ever since I played in Mollys Amigo (a band I fronted in 2015) I knew I wanted to seriously pursue music. At the time, I had no idea that would mean me exploring the industry as a solo artist. Its been a challenge, but one I’ve embraced wholeheartedly. I would be lying if I said its always gone smoothly, but I guess that’s just part of growing and developing as an artist.”
