Stampede at the King Eddy: Rooster Davis Band

Join us at the legendary King Eddy for some boot stompin’ live music this Stampede! New Orleans piano master Rooster Davis brings his funky blues show to the stage on Friday, July 5.

About Rooster Davis:

Rooster Davis is a professional Edmonton based piano and Hammond organ player who specializes in the New Orleans piano traditions of players such as Dr. John, James Booker, Professor Longhair, and Alan Toussaint, and has created his own style that combines their influences with aspects of Canadiana, roots, and rock. The music driving, funky blues with that greasy New Orleans groove, and it is all about getting your feet tapping and your legs moving.

This show will also feature Juno-nominated Dave Babcock on saxophone.
