About Lauren Mayell

Acclaimed Calgary-born country singer-songwriter Lauren Mayell is a showstopper with a long list of achievements under her shiny “Pure Country” belt buckle – a legacy gift from her very influential musician Grandfather. The powerhouse vocalist was named ACMA Female Artist of the Year in 2018, Country 105’s Rising Star in 2017 and won the Cowboy’s Country Thunder Competition in 2016. She has shared marquee stages with everyone from Dean Brody, Brett Kissel and Meghan Patrick to a Western Canadian Tour with Kane Brown, just to name a few.

With the upcoming release of her eagerly anticipated Album “The Journey”(Summer 2022), Lauren takes her craft to the next level. With undeniable passion and mesmerizing presence, she captivates everyone in her path. She has assembled a dazzling collection of meaningful and rhythmic ballads, each propelled by her electrifying voice. She truly puts her heart and soul into everything she does, leaving a trail of hope and a desire behind her to persevere.

Lauren has the gift of evoking emotions through her music, making every performance an inspiring musical experience for the listeners. There is an intensity & passion put into the live show where her relatable self penned songs will take you on a “Journey”, one she welcomes you to join her on.

It has been said that music can wash away the sands of everyday life to feed and heal the soul. This couldn’t be more relevant to Lauren after the recent and sudden passing of her Father and Manager, 2019 ACMA Industry Person of the Year Larry Mayell. With the unwavering support of her ever-growing believers, Lauren will undoubtedly continue to Strive and Thrive, now in her Father’s honour and her family’s legacy.
