Canadian rock band The Definitive joins forces with five-piece funk group Karma Charm at the legendary King Eddy on May 24.

About The Definitive:

The Definitive is an all Canadian rock band formed in Calgary, Alberta, in 2023. The group’s unique blend of Evan Burns’ progressive slap bass lines, Dylan Jones’ classic rock-inspired guitar riffs, Vaughan Xavier’s in-your-face funky drum grooves and the sweet memorable vocal hooks of Duke Domino, has garnered them a reputation for exploring uncharted sonic territory – creating a sound the band call Northern Rock.

Following the release of their debut album WORLDS AWAY, they have cemented their reputation as an incredibly energetic and fresh live act, playing shows and festivals across Western Canada. Amidst the chaos The Definitive continue to dive deeper into their sound, exploring new ideas and capitalising on the magic of those first jam sessions.

Karma Charm are a 5-piece Canadian Funk, Rock band from Calgary, Alberta. The band formed in 2023 in hopes to hit souls with some funk rock and who all just couldn’t get enough Toto, Fleetwood Mac, April Wine. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses hard-hitting grooves, colourful vibes with playful music and surprising set changes that will make you want to put on the stank face.
