Alt-pop party band The Free Label are getting wild for two nights at the iconic King Eddy! Catch their gritty, funky sound on February 9 or February 10.

About The Free Label

Toronto, Canada’s beloved party band, The Free Label, proudly boasts the title “your moms favourite.” With a mission to spread their gritty, funky sound worldwide, The Free Label is destined to throw the wildest parties imaginable. Their latest hit single, “Boys Don’t Sob,” has been lauded as one of Spotify’s best funk songs of 2022. Fans can eagerly anticipate the release of the Flip Fone EP in the summer of 2023.

The Free Label has an impressive list of accolades, including the achievement of 1.3 million streams for their hit single “All Night.” They’ve traveled extensively as an independent band, performing all across Canada and the United States, even making it past the border without issue. The band has graced the stage at SXSW and even performed for Richard Branson’s birthday party, going so far as to break into his private suite to throw a party. Additionally, The Free Label has opened for T-Pain at the Calgary Stampede and recently received recognition in “Forbes” for their track “Sugar Momma.” Their latest single, “Boys Don’t Sob,” has been featured on prime time radio all over Japan and caused a stir when it single-handedly shut down Interac money transfers for a day. The band’s legendary live shows have included drinking 72 tequila shots on stage during a single set. In 2023, The Free Label is embarking on a world tour, visiting Canada, the USA, Europe, Australia, and Japan.
