About The River Jacks (in their own words)

We’re a travelling crew of good friends, creating the music we want to hear. We’re based out of Calgary, AB. We play short songs loud and fast. Our subject matter ranges from the conversational to the political, to the literal, to the metaphorical, to the astronomical, to the fantastical, etc. We take our cues from the pathfinders of punk rock.
