Multi-instrumentalist Tori Morley hits the legendary King Eddy stage with the psychedelic rock sounds of her upcoming album on April 12.
About Tori Morley
Tori Morley is a local up and coming musician. She has always had a deep passion for music and is well versed in multiple genres and musical styles. As a multi-instrumentalist, Tori plays a wide range of instruments at a professional level including bass guitar, trumpet, piano, flugelhorn, and tenor horn. She has performed with the Alberta Honors Youth Wind Orchestra on several occasions, performed with the Lethbridge Brass Band, and is continuing her musical education with Kurt Morgan.
Her wide range of musical idols have allowed her to create an eclectic and unique sound while composing. Her first EP reached top 10 on CJSW. She has been interviewed on the subject of the impact of the constant change in the music industry artists as featured in the lyrics of the title track “RageEhLittelBit” by CBC. Her second album titled The Eyebrow Project discusses some political and current matters such as climate hypocrisy as well as the use of generative AI making an appearance in the music scene.
Her third album is currently in the works which will embrace a more psychedelic rock style as well as some brand new topics such as the effect that media has on music and having “FUNZO”.
Tori’s work as a musician advocates for embracing your own creativity which is a belief that she projects into her music. Tori is happiest when she is composing, drawing, reading, hiking, or enjoying live music and theater.
