Wilson Avenue with Jamie Allanach

Wilson Avenue would like to extend an invitation to our first intimate acoustic show. Featuring stripped back originals from our forthcoming debut album and a selection of favourite covers from the artists who influence us. See you there!

About Wilson Avenue:
Wilson Avenue is a new Canadian rock band, whose nostalgic classic sound collides with fresh vocals and contemporary story telling.

The band started with Shelby Wilson (lead singer) and her dad collaborating together to write an albums worth of material. At the time, Shelby was working as singer on board a cruise ship and decided once she finished her contract, to bring in her Brazilian guitarist who spent three weeks in Calgary recording guitar for this project. After her second cruise contact on board she met Scottish born drummer, Ben Montgomery. Ben moved from Glasgow to Calgary on a working holiday visa to pursue his music and teaching career. Ben recorded the drums on the album and eventually they decided to put together a band.

Wilson Avenue members include: Shelby Wilson, Ben Montgomery, Jamie Allanach, Jake Anderson and Matthew Jumpsen.

About Jamie Allanach:
Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, Jamie has been working professionally as a solo musician since 2015.
