Wolf Willow with Red Hot Hayseeds
Ring in the spring sunshine with original honky tonk and western swing with Saskatchewan’s Wolf Willow, with boot-stompin’ support from Bella White and Red Hot Hayseeds.
From the fictional town of Darston, Saskatchewan, Wolf Willow presents original honkey-tonk and ripping fast western swing numbers in the format of an old time radio show. With a horn section and an ear for countrypolitan arrangements, Wolf Willow both stretches and upholds the retro-country tradition.
In 2018, the band released Caribou Howl which evolved out of a deal to write and record the score for a documentary on caribou. The record charted on Earshot! reporting stations across Canada and received a nomination for a Saskatchewan Music Award in the Experimental/Avante-garde category.
Red Hot Hayseeds are a Central Alberta based group specializing in western swing, country, and bluegrass toe tappers, knee slappers, heartbreakers, and waltzes who perform as a trio, quartet, or 5 piece led by Tyler Allen on vocals & guitar.
